DESCRIPTION:The future of health care begins with nutrition\, is the theme for this continuing medical education event. The national nonprofit Plant-based Prevention Of Disease (P-POD) continuing education conferences are an evidence-based look at how plant-based eating patterns and allied lifestyle changes may reduce the risks of society’s major preventable diseases. I am excited to present my presentation on vulnerable populations and disparities to health care and nutritious food access.

DESCRIPTION:The Urban League of Charlotte  mission is to empower the community to reach financial stability and social justice in a global economy through education\, training\, placement and entrepreneurship.
